Spring 2012 Coaches Poll - Preseason Edition

It's that time again. 16 teams and nearly 300 kickballers will be lacing their cleats up and competing tonight! As we go throughout the season, we'll have the coaches contribute their top 10 rankings to the league office. We'll compile their votes and publish the rankings as a sort of pulse check. Does your team have what it takes to break into the top 10?

10. Moose Knuckles (21 pts) 
The Knuckles return to VA Peninsula! With some championship experience, this team will be one to watch out for all season.

9. Battlestar Ballsacktica (21 pts) 
The Ballsacks have made some great additions and they look like they'll be on the edge of breaking out in 2012.

8. Rumspringa (37 pts) 
After a dissapointing Fall 2011 campaign, new captain Ricky Holmes as the team re-focused on the Wentworth Trophy®.

7. Jagernauts (40 pts) 
With virtually the same roster returning each season, the 'Nauts are the model of consistency.

6. Free Ballin' (40 pts) 
A nice debut in the Fall followed by a strong final four run in the winter VA Raptor league has MK's squad solidly ranked to start the season.

5. Kick Ass (49 pts) 
Captain Manny Anderson's team is loaded with talent and driven to succeed.

4. Burning Bridges (79 pts, 1 first place vote) 
Last seasons upstarts won't be catching anyone by surprise now. How will they handle a challenging schedule with a bullseye on their backs?

3. 5 O'Clockers (80 pts, 1 first place vote) 
The Clockers are hungry for another championship.

2. Just For Kicks (87 pts, 1 first place vote) 
The Dead Kennedys have had some roster changes since the Fall, however, they still look to be a powerful unit as always.

The reigning champions begin their title defense, opening up the polls in the top spot.
