I can tell you, from personal experience, they know how to take care of some kickballers! When we set out to look for a summer bar, we wanted an establishment that was going to offer us great deals on both drinks and food, as well as be able to provide an environment full of entertainment. But we also wanted someone who would be willing to embrace the special abilities we bring with us on WAKA Wednesdays: the most ridiculously fun adult sports throwdown's you have ever seen!
I'll get down to the nitty-gritty details of the fantastic specials they will be offering just for us!
Drink specials will include:
$2 22 oz. PBR!
$3 WAKA Bombs!
$2 bottle on special craft beers (brand will vary on weekly basis)!
Food specials:
$2 Burgers!!! (Ask Scott Duncan and Nikki Leblanc what that is all about!!)
$2 Tacos!!
And all that is already on top of their typically great prices and awesome food (another first hand experience)!
It doesn't just stop at the food and drink specials however. Every Wednesday, for the entire 5 week season, they will be offering karaoke from 9-12 for all you wanna-be Rock Stars!! WAKA VA Peninsula Kickballers are famous for some of their karaoke performances (others are infamous!), but can you imagine what it is going to be like every WAKA Wednesday for the summer?? Shit just got real!!
They also have free Texas Hold 'Em on Wednesdays for you card sharks out there, as well as pool tables and a separate room for smokers to utilize.
I know they are excited to host us this summer and definitely looking forward to ensuring we have a good time every week. They have a good track record in the past of taking care of teams, so I'm confident this is just beginning of a beautiful friendship!!
