Ballsagna Blasts New Kickheads

     Never fear!  Your loyal Ballsagna blogger is here!  Better late than never, I always say!
     Well, Team Ballsagna coasted through this game pretty much, taking a 12-0 lead in the first inning so they decided to switch it around on defense, and kick away and just take a single base on offense to keep it fun for all. That first inning was a doozy! Almost everyone got on base taking advantage of miss-throws and dropped balls. Stephen McGrew decided to kick the McCrap out of the ball and sent it bouncing all the way to the wall for a 3 run homer!  BOO-yah!!!!! The Kickheads finally stopped the bleeding after 12 runs came in, but it was a 3 up-3 down situation when they came up to kick sending them back out again in quick form. :/ Well, that's no fun for anybody so Ballsagna kicked away and took only one base at a time (when we remembered to stop) Andrew Schlichte never got the hang of that.  We had to pull him off to the side and beat him.  He'll remember now. Captain George Kiriazidas decided to try and come of off  IR and make a kick or 2 against his trainer's wishes. Hans is VERY upset and has been reported to say "I am not his friend anymore! He never used his hips correctly durin-k trainin-k anyvay! "Vork those hips" I alvays say, "Stick your butt out more" but NOOOOO!!! I am done and leavin-k in a HUFF!!!"
     So um..... yeah let's get to the fun part!
     Ballsagna defensively scrambled up to make things interesting! Basically the ladies took the infield and the guys hung back (to get a better view of the ladies butts, I'm sure) Jennifer Miller took the mound and threw some salsa at 'em.  She did very well, not walking one person! Before Holly Lenard came in to play catcher, she was in right field when a bomb was kicked in her direction.  She had to run back for it and turned around just in time for a solid catch. SWEET!!!!! Nobody seems to kick towards the Silent Killer anymore so the Silent Killer kicks to them!  Karen Savell kicked 3 for 3 that evening and 2 for 3 the game before. She's VA Hustle HAWT!!! :P (OK, that was weird)  Last but not least, Nicole Graziano took up the charger position head on, baby!  She's our payer of the week catching balls and throwing runners out at first on at least 7 or 8 occasions....including one line drive to the gut! OUCH!!!! She held on to that sucker like a PRO!  Way to go, Nicole!!!

   The Kickheads were getting the hang of catching the ball and figuring out when to touch the base and when to tag the runner.  There were some EXCELLENT catches made out there!  They made an awesome team effort!  The thing I like to see with teams is no yelling at their players and there wasn't even a hint of that.  They were all having a blast and that's what matters!  Great game Kickheads! Let's drink!

PSSS- We are SO EXCITED that Mike Harvey is back!!!!!! He just finished his tour in Afghanistan and we are soooo pumped that he is home safe and ready to kick some WAKA butt!!! :)
 We are also pretty bummed that Irene and Taylor Mitchell will be deployed to Guam after this week and this will be their last game with us. Booooooooo! :(
