VA Peninsula: Numbers Don't Lie - Week 4

Greetings WAKA VA Peninsula kickball players,

The Engineers here at the WAKA VA Peninsula Statistical Data Center have been putting in a lot of effort to record your every move this season. I assure you that this is not to cure our never ending desire of pointless data entry but because we love this game and admire your hard work and determination for being the best adult Kickball player that you all inspire to be. Your dedication has not gone unnoticed. Please see the superior lists compiled below.

Literally On Fire

If you're on the list above you deserve to be on a damn Wheaties box.

I had an in person interview with Emmanuel AKA "Manny" Anderson where he revealed a secret to me. While I will not disclose this information I will say that you are well on your way to fulfilling your kickball destiny. Manny is just plain out fast and gets on base regardless of where the ball ends up. He's 9 for 9 from the lead off position and also leads the league with 8 scores and 11 total bases, partially due to the help of his equally skilled teammates, namely Gene "I've got the runs" Efird. Gene leads the league with 8 RKIs in 4 attempts while maintaining a flawless average. He even had a Home Run on his birthday(we keep lots of stats). Opposing defenses recognize his ability to put the ball into orbit as well as he already has 5 intentional walks on his resume. That's bananas.

Randy "Randy" Devlin and his beard are also perfect for the season. They are currently 2nd in the league going 8 for 8 with 9 total bases, 5 scores and 2 RKIs. Great job guys.

JC Cashwell and Nick Anderson round out the end of our prestigious list of players with a perfect kicking average. JC is 5 for 5 with 5 runs and 2nd in the league with 6 RKIs. Nick is 7 for 7 with 3 runs and 4 RKIs. JC and Nick also showed their team first mentality by sacrificing their perfect on base percentage to move the bases for scores. Great job broski's.

These well known highly respected ladies are on top of their game once again. The elite ladies listed above are currently leading the league in hits and they are surely a huge asset to their teams. The Heads are looking good in this department. Emily Cook, Lenora Harper and Jill Simms putting in strong contributions with 13 hits and 4 runs so far in this young season. We will definitely see more to come from everyone here. Awesome job.

Special shout out to Nikki LeBlanc from Ballsagna. She was 1 for 1 in her WAKA debut after returning from surgery. Her base hit broke up a perfect game by The Situation. We are all proud of you.

I'm sad that I had to add requirements in order to shorten this still gaudy list. The players listed above are ballin no doubt. Players to be unnamed have not posted their bribery payments as of yet so count this all as absolute fact.  Don't worry if you're not on the list.....

This is just the beginning ladies and gentlemen. We are keeping an eye for players with room to improve as well. We all believe in you and are looking forward to see how you do. Good Luck and let there be no more rain outs.
