VA Peninsula - Fall 2014 Week 6 Results


Hammers 6, Ballsagna 1

In his first game against his former team, the Hammers Brian Neal did a ton of damage, driving in 4 runs.

Heads 1, Boom 0

This was a defensive battle throughout the evening as both teams worked through some jams. In the top of the 4th, Curtis Faubion scored on a Juice Fitzgerald double to plate the only run of the game.

KILFS2 6, Breaking Brad 2

Kippy Holbrooks had a monster game for K2. He drove in 4 runs and scored one as well to lead the Hey Hey kids to their 3rd win.

Kick Pitches Get Money 3, Chaotic KILFs 0

Fueled by expensive scotch, KPGM pitcher Jeff Shildt had a #big game. 5 scoreless innings on the mound and an RKI to lead the Monies over the KILFs.

Interventions 1, Hotdogs & Tacos 1

In the top of the 3rd, Pat Smith's single drove in Stephanie Romett to give the Interventions a 1-0 lead, but it was not enough. The Tacos loaded the bases in the 5th inning, and Meghan Knowlton drove in Chris Collins with a sacrifice. The Interventions defense was able to escape with only that run allowed though to secure the draw.

Sneak Attack 13, Foul Balls 0

The Foulies managed to limit the explosive SA offense to just two runs through two innings, but couldn't hold the line. The Attack broke loose withe a big 4 run 3rd inning that opened the flood gates.

Rumspringa 6, Resting Pitch Face 1

The 'Springa offense opened up hot. Their first 4 kickers reached home as Rumspringa cruised to victory.

The Situation 16, Fireballs 0

Tough matchup for the Fireballs.
Players of the Game: Every member of The Situation lineup reached base during the game.

Recess Rejects 6, Kick in a Box 0

Joe Conway earned some high praise from his teammates on Facebook after this game, and for good reason. The Rejects' charger was 2 for 2 with a 2 runs, 3 RKIs, and a homer in the big win.
