(DISCLAIMER: This is not official. Always remember that I'm not smart and can easily have made a mistake. Also, this is assuming that there are no forfeits tonight, which would complicate some of the scenarios)
Before we begin, let's take a look at the current standings.
Now to break it down:
Jungle Gym Conference
- Night Sweats clinch one seed with a win or tie vs Cardiac Arrest.
- Cardiac Arrest can take the one seed with a win over Night Sweats.
- WAKA'm To the Jungle can earn the two seed with a win and a Cardiac Arrest loss/tie. They can also earn the two seed with a win and a Night Sweats loss, as long as Night Sweats gives up an additional 3 more runs than Jungle does. (the first tiebreaker is head to head, in which Jungle/Sweats split. The next tie breaker is total runs allowed. Sweats currently lead Jungle 13 to 15.)
- WTF has clinched the #4 seed.
- DCOMB has clinched the #5 seed.
- Chaotic KILFS: Even with a doubleheader sweep and a DCOMB loss, the KILFs would still be in the 6th spot for Saturday's tournament.
Tortolini Conference
- Rumspringa: Both 'Springa and Hotdogs & Tacos have 7-1-1 records. Obviously, a win for either with a loss/tie for the other will determine which one has the better record. If both teams win their games tonight, the tie-breaker will come down to runs allowed, since the two teams tied in week 2. Currently, Rumspringa has allowed 9 runs less than Hot Dogs & Tacos, so it would be extremely unlikely that they would jump to the top spot in this scenario.
- Hot Dogs & Tacos: Can not fall any farther than 2nd place. Can earn the top seed with a win against Bad News Beers and a Rumspringa loss or tie.
- Alcoballics: Essentially the Alcoballics vs. Fireballs game tonight will determine the 3rd seed. Both teams are 6-3 and battling for that spot. A win by either will clinch it. In the event of a tie, the Alcoballics will earn the 3 seed as they've allowed less runs than the Fireballs this season.
- Fireballs: Can earn the 3 seed with a win over Alcoballics
- Foul Balls: A win or tie will clinch the 5th seed. There is no path to the 4th seed since they were defeated by both Fireballs & Alcoballics earlier in the season and would lose the head to head tie-breakers.
- Bad News Beers: Due to a forfeit and the penalty associated with it, there is no path to the 5th seed. Even if they sweep their doubleheader and Foul Balls loses, their win percentage would be lower. They can clinch the 6th seed by winning or tying one of their games tonight.
- Peanut Butter Jelly Time: Can move to the 6th seed with a win vs. 5TDK and two losses by Bad News Beers. A win or tie will clinch the 7th seed.
- Forcing Third Base: Can clinch the 8th seed with a win or tie. Can not advance further due to a week 1 loss against PBJT.
- Balls & Dolls: Can clinch the 8th seed with a win against Forcing Third Base. Will clinch the 9th seed with a tie.
- Five Toe Death Kick: have clinched the 10th seed.
