Week 2 Gambling Lines

The Clockers' Jeff Pauley had a great idea today on facebook, when he suggested posting a weekly look at hypothetical spreads for each game. So, I thought about it, and since I'm already in a Vegas frame of mind, decided that sure, this could be fun. Let's give it a shot...

NOTE: This is not to be used for actual gambling, because you know, that's illegal, and we wouldn't want that. Plus, I'm pulling the majority of these lines straight from my ass.

#5 5 O'Clockers (-1.5) vs. #7 Rumspringa (+1.5)

After the loss of Troy Southall for several weeks, the Clockers have to be considered the favorites for this matchup.

Saved by the Balls (-0.5) vs. Jiminy Kick-It (+0.5)
Thought about making this a 'Pick Em' because there are a lot of question marks with each team. Decided to make SbtB the slight favorite though since they have a little bit more experience than JKI.

New Kickheads on the Block (+2) vs. #8 Foul Balls (-2)
The Foul Balls are 2-0 and in first place. They deserve to be favored against NKotB, but not by too much.

How about a special prop bet, just for the hell of it?

#6 Chubby Gangsters (+1.5) vs. #4 Jagernauts (-1.5)
The Gangbangers looked good in week 1, but they'll face much stiffer competition this week (and I'm not just referring to Kim Merritt after popping a viagra pill).

#9 Chicken Tetrazzini (-1.5) vs. #10 Moose Knuckles (+1.5)
Chicken Tetrazzini won't be able to use the blog as underdog motivation this week. They are the favorites against the rookie Knuckles.

#2 The Emperors Club (-5) vs. #7 Rumspringa (+5) 
The VIPs looked good in week 1 against JFK, while 'Springa looked like they were still knocking the rust off against VD.

#4 Jagernauts (-3.5) vs. #10 Moose Knuckles (+3.5) 

The experience and depth of the 'Nauts should see them through tonight.

Battlestar Ballsacktica (-3) vs. OitC (+3)
Making the Battlestar 3 run favorites has less to do with their week 1 performance and more to do with Off in the Corners'.

#1 Vicious & Delicious (-1) vs. #3 Just For Kicks (+1)
I think this will be a close and competitive game that could go either way. But if I had a gun to my head, I'd have to lean towards VD.
