Thank you, Keith

Not only is tonight the final night of our Hampton bowling league, but it's the final night for Keith Morehart as a CLUBWAKA Community Coordinator. Keith has been serving the CLUBWAKA for 5 years and over his time, he has led 13 sports leagues, multiple one-day tourneys, and assisted with countless other events. Through his efforts, he's literally made a positive impact on hundreds of lives. Think of all the good times, memories, and friendships that have been formed or deepened in VA Peninsula and Freedom since 2012. Without Keith's hard work, how would that have been different?

Everything was going just great until this guy came along.

All eras must come to an end, though. With a new full-time career and a growing family, finding the time to serve the community at the standard Keith has set has become next to impossible. So, rather than provide less, he has decided to resign. Tonight is his last night 'on-duty'.

From a personal standpoint, I want to thank Keith for everything he's done. When I have an idea or need to talk through something, he's the first guy I go to. Our Facebook chat log is probably thicker than 'War and Peace'. The amount of time that we've spent kicking around ideas, has been ridiculous!

As you all know, CLUBWAKA hired me full-time last December. It's been a dream come true as it's allowed me to follow my passion and is the most fulfilling job I've ever had. But, without Keith, I never would have had the opportunity. When Keith launched VA Freedom in 2013, it kick-started (pun intended) the growth of WAKA in Hampton Roads. If WAKA never grows, then the company would never have invested in bringing me on board full-time. Fact.

This isn't 'goodbye' of course. No doubt, Keith will continue to be an active member of CLUBWAKA. But we would be remiss if we didn't take the time to recognize his efforts. Please join me in thanking him for everything he's done. Keith has been an incredible teammate and I sincerely appreciate working together.
