Resolve to Have More Fun in 2020

It's the last day of the year and we're hoping you're all enjoying the holidays! If you're like most Americans, you'll probably spend some time reflecting on the last year and setting goals for the next trip around the sun. According to the American Psychological Association, 93% of Americans make New Year's Resolutions. Making a resololution is one thing. Keeping it can be a challenge. Luckily CLUBWAKA is here to help with some of the most popular resolutions:

• EXERCISE MORE: This is probably the most common resolution made and the most common one broken. It doesn't have to be though. CLUBWAKA offers a variety of different activities from more casual games like bowling or cornhole to more dynamic like soccer or volleyball. • SAVE MONEY: Sign up for your favorite sport when registration opens and take advantage of early bird prices, saving $20 or more on your membership fees. While in season, enjoy great discounts on food and drinks at our postgame partner bars. • LEARN A NEW SKILL OR HOBBY: CLUBWAKA offers a variety of different sports leagues in Hampton Roads including kickball, bowling, soccer, softball, cornhole, dodgeball, and volleyball. All of our leagues welcome all-skill levels and free agents are always welcome! Plus we host free pickup games in the offseason, so you don't even need to sign up to try a new sport. • SPEND MORE TIME WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS: Life in 2019 is hectic and fast paced and there is no reason to believe that'll change in 2020. Finding time to spend with your favorite people can be tough with everyone having competing priorities and packed calendars. Having a set activity each week is the perfect excuse to block off some time with good friends. Get a group together and start a coed sports team! 
• FIND A NEW JOB: Looking for new and better opportunities in 2020? One of the underrated benefits of joining CLUBWAKA is the networking. • GIVE MORE: In 2019, CLUBWAKA members raised over $13,000 for various local causes playing in one-day events and tournaments. We participated in food and clothing drives as well as selflessly donated time for volunteer events. One of CLUBWAKA's core values is Strengthening our Community. • DRINK LESS ALCOHOL: Uh. Sorry. We probably can't help with this one. 

 Over the past year, CLUBWAKA Hampton Roads has hosted 41 leagues and one-day events with 5,000 participants. Thousands of games were played. Championships won. But most importantly, there were countless laughs shared, memories made, and friendships created.
