Forbes earned the all-star honors in her rookie season last spring after using her outstanding speed and athleticism to stand out among her peers. This is a very big pickup for the 'Springa, who made the semi-finals last season. Will Megan be the difference maker that lifts them to the next level this season?

Tough week for the Peninsula teams competing over in Norfolk's ultra competitive VA Recess winter league. The
The Emperors Club suffered a nightmarish 1st inning, giving up 3 runs against Poles N Holes. SP
Brent Wentworth (3rd person alert) particularly sucked ass, walking the first two kickers of the game and putting the VIPs in a hole. The Emperors Club ended up losing 3-0... Meanwhile, the
NautSoJagers squared off against nationally ranked The Situation. The Situation opened up an 11-0 lead, and looked to cruise to victory. But the Jagers would not go quietly. Led by a stand up triple by
Kim Merritt (
with beer in hand!), they scored 4 runs before running out of outs on their rally. Final score: The Situation 11, NautSoJager 4.
