Spring 2011 - Coaches Poll (7.3.2011)

Before we get into the rankings for this final regular season, I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of the voters who have participated in the Coaches Poll all season. George Kiriazidis, Justin Littell, Derek Patterson, Ashley Williams, Jen Nardi, Andy Tapley, Buster Patterson, Jeff Pauley, Bundy, and Scott Moriarty. Each week they submitted their polls to me, for the website, and it's been fun for me putting it together and posting them. Thanks again, to each and everyone one of you.

Now onto the poll...

1. The Emperors Club (79 pts, 7 first place votes) 
Record: 10-1-1

The VIPs earned their league record 5th regular season title and reclaimed the top spot going into the tourney.

2. Vicious & Delicious (67 pts) 
Record: 10-2
Last Week: #1 (-1)
VD had the #1 seed in it's grasp, but stumbled against the Clockers in the finale.

3. Just For Kicks (63 pts) 
Record: 9-3
Last Week: #2 (-1)
Another week, another victory by double digits.

4. Chubby Gangsters (56 pts, 1 first place vote) 
Record: 10-2
Last Week: #4
All the Gangbangers keep doing is winning kickball games.

5. 5 O'Clockers (55 pts) 
Record: 9-3
Last Week: #5
The Clockers got a huge win over VD and a lot of momentum going into the playoffs.

6. Rumspringa (40 pts) 
Record: 7-4-1
Last Week: #6
'Springa has been flying just under the radar the last couple months, but they should not be taken lightly.

7. Jagernauts (32 pts) 
Record: 7-5
Last Week: #7
The 'Nauts bounced back from their flat performance in week 11 with a big win over NKotB in the last game of the season.

8. Chicken Tetrazzini (23 pts) 
Record: 6-6
Last Week: #9 (+1)
A double header sweep has got the Angry Birds to .500 for the season.

9. Battlestar Ballsacktica (10 pts) 
Record: 5-7
Last Week: Not Ranked
The Ballsacks have improved steadily throughout the season, playing in a lot of close games, and coming up with some big wins.

10. Moose Knuckles (9 pts) 
Record: 6-6
Last Week: 8 (-2)
A forfeit in the last week is not the strongest showing for the Knuckles.
