Kick Ass Holds Off Battlestar Rally to Earn First 'W'

What was that strange noise coming from the Ballsacks side of the ball field?? The Rebel-Indian yell, of course! After they finished their "please don't rain" dance, they got down to business! Ballsacks started off with a run scored in the first by none other than Michael Machie. But they were held scoreless in the next 3 innings while Kick Ass chipped away scoring runs in each inning.

A focused Weiszek on the mound.
Kick Ass was ahead 5-1 in the 5th inning and that's when BB turned it on! Philip Tanner was brought in on a kick by Kyle Rowley to bring them up a point. Then with one out, Brandon Silver put in a solid kick to bring in Jason Weiszek and Rowley. The close play was at home when Kyle slid in face first to beat the throw and brought the score to 5-4.  Brandon Silver, Steven Sherman, and Andy Tapley were on base ready to be the tying, and winning scorers, but after short consultations with the next kickers telling them to "be the ball", it just wasn't meant to be.  For the first time this season the ballsacks fall short and give the KA's their first win. Final score: 5-4

P.S.- If the Pilots are wondering where their patch of grass went in the outfield, please contact Kyle Rowley as we're pretty sure he brought most of it home in his shorts after that awesome slide!

P.S.S- For the record, the BB team blames Peter Kuhr for the loss since his "Rebel-Indian yell" sounded too much like the Xena Warrior Princess battle cry!
