80's night AND Karaoke!!!

Kickball. 80's costumes and hairstyles. Karaoke. That just happened...

... or will happen coming this Wednesday May 2nd. Starting at War Memorial WAKA will be hosting it's first themed week of the season with 80's week. Come out dressed from head to toe in your favorite 80's garb and show who has the best taste in big hair and neon colors and lots of glitter. If the idea of seeing your fellow kickballers running around in tube socks and Member's Only jackets isn't enough incentive to be psyched for this week (which means you were probably born in the 90's, and since that is entirely possible and almost mind boggling, I'm moving on quickly) there will also be alcholic incentive-laden prizes for those willing to rock their duds to Luckies as well.

There will be 2 pitchers awarded in all: 1 awarded for best overall outfit (If there is not a clear winner, it may just have to be determined with a fashion show on the dance floor at Luckies) and 1 awarded for best/biggest hair (real or wig, if you can play and/or party in it then you earn it).

Oh God, please, someone try and do this!

Speaking of the bar, as if 80's night on the field and at the bar isn't badass enough, Commissioner Wentworth has arranged for us to have a highly anticipated karaoke night!! For those who were not able to make it out to last Fall's karaoke night at Luckie's, let me assure you you will not be disappointed. There are several extremely talented karaokier's that regularly rock the mic and surprise us with something that brings everyone to their feet! I speak from personal experience, if you miss it you will regret it immediately after you hear all the stories the next morning (especially if Emily Cook decides to rap again).
