Spring 2012 - Week 5 Results & Scores

WAKA VA Peninsula got in our time machines and traveled back to the 1980s in week 5. Lots of spandex, side pony tails, hair crimpin', and a little bit of leather. Oh, and some kickball was played. Let's take a look at all the results from a totally awesome week 5.

Rumspringa 2, JKI 0 
Just Kickin' It held it down on defense, but was unable to penetrate the league's statistically best defense.

Moose Knuckles 4, Foul Balls 3
A back and forth affair saw the Knuckles rally late to earn the big victory.

5 O'Clockers 1, Jagernauts 0 
Josh Waldrop kicked in the go ahead RKI sacrifice in the 5th inning, and Daniel Reyes robbed Ashlee Gitkos of a sure game tying hit to clinch the win for the Clockers.

Just For Kicks 5, Free Ballin' 0
JFK bounced back after a week 4 loss to dominate the Ballers.

Peanut Butter Jelly Time 4, New Kickheads 3
PBJ put some late runs on the board in a closely contested game, denying the Kickheads their first W.

PBJ celebrates their 2nd straight victory.

Kick Ass 2, Burning Bridges 1 
A battle between two rivals lived up to the hype. KA managed to overcome the stout Bridges defense to earn the big win.

Shake N Bake 10, Battlestar Ballsacktica 3
The SnB offense exploded, as there was a continuous charcoal blur streaking across home plate.



Chicken Tetrazzini 5, Chubby Gangsters 5
The Gangbangers and the Angry Birds went toe to toe in an instant classic. Adam Henry scored the tying run in the bottom of the 5th, but the Gangsters were able to limit the damage to 1.

Kick Ass 5, New Kickheads 2 
The Kickheads kept it close against their former teammate Manny Anderson, but were no match for the efficient KA offense.
