This Saturday, October 12th, there is a Craft Beer Fest being help at Mill Point Park benefiting the Junior League of Hampton Roads (http://www.jlhr.org/). Basically, you purchase tickets to be able to sample some of the finest craft beers, be entertained by music and the like, and walk away with a brand new pint glass. You can purchase 9 tasting tickets for $20, 20 tasting tickets for $35, or you can purchase the VIP package for $50 which gets you 25 tasting tickets, including an exclusive VIP beer AND an exclusive VIP hour from 12-1 with free hors d'ouvres.
VIP certainly sounds like the way to go. Fortunately for us, the better half of one of our very own kickballers has been instrumental in putting this fundraiser together and is offering a special VIP pricing for just WAKA kickballers. Mrs. Jenn Devlin wants to make sure there are as many WAKA players there as possible and is offering $45 VIP tickets which also includes the fast line to the beer booths. So to reiterate, it will only cost you $45 for 25 tasting tickets (with the exclusive beer), access to the fast line, and the VIP hour from 12-1. Not to mention, you're contributing to a great cause!
