Plan B Plants One on Ballsagna

Well, it looks like the Plan B crew made it easy for me this week.  Rob Mendosa did an excellent job of photographing and videoing the whole thing!  So, bye!...
Ok, ok....I gotta put a few jabs in there somewhere to gloat on our players.  Ballsagna did an awesome job hanging in there for 4 innings going 1-1 the whole time. Don't believe me?? Here's video proof:

Andrew Schlichte and George Kiriazidis shared pitching duties for Ballsagna and did well. George was excellent in making them bouncy when a kick away was predicted.  Their first and only run in was by Brian Neal by the thin hairs on his chin!  He made a superman dive for the plate and just.squeaked.by. WOW!

The many Bro-Slo-Mo faces of Brian Neal

In the next inning Mike Harvey charged at a bunt and threw Alex Noctor out as he tagged his foot before he reached the base for a wicked play!  The Silent Killer got her first out of the season that inning as well. (Only because no one kicks to me anymore!!!  Wussies!!)  A deep right/right center field kick was made but Karen Savell was under it for the catch.

Mike Harvey zinging it to first!

Stephen McGrew freakin' McTHREW that ball from center field to third to tag runner Amanda Doolittle but it hit her head BEFORE she slide into 3rd base so it was overruled as a safe play. WHOA, what an ARM!!
The next inning was a stalemate as well. Charger Mike Harvey grabbed a bunt and threw to 1st and Patrick Jones hurled it over to third where Nicole Plesha was able to deflect it down for a tag O-U-T OUT!! The Silent Killer was able to close out that inning with a short right field catch on her knees. Woohooo!!!
Jen Miller was able to make a sweet catch at short stop and also made another heads up play by tossing it to second for an out.  Don't mess with the Ballsagna ladies!!! They know how to shut you down! ;)

Nothing hits the ground when the Silent Killer is around!

Unfortunately the Plan B ladies know what they're doing, too.  Dangit...Amanda Doolittle got in a few kicks and even a double when PJ went for the throw to 3rd and she took advantage of that throw to advance. Kearsten Lewis was up to kick with a runner on third and perfectly bunted that sucker down the third base line. I hate ya'll.... ;)

Dude, aren't we supposed to be winning right now?!

Andrew Lowell is proving to be an excellent utility player.  Put him anywhere and he handles it!  He took first base duties for a few innings and was able to make a diving grab while keeping his foot on the bag. Holy Moly!!! That was a stud play!
Mark "Rabbit" Thompson is BEAST at the catcher position.  Being left handed gives him an advantage of not having to make a spin throw to first so his throws are accurate and FAST!

Overall, an excellent game full of fun competition!  Plan B did their usual by pulling away in the 4th inning and opening up a can of whoop a$$ to bring the score to 7-1.

I hope everyone had an excellent and relaxing Memorial Day. Let's not forget our heroes!
