Every Wednesday is filled with spectacular plays and great performances. Let's look at a few of the individuals who had a tremendous week 6.
Nicole Graziano, Charger (!), Ballsagna
Graziano made her debut at charger against the Kickheads and recorded 7 outs, including a nice snag of a hard line drive.
Geoff Morehart, Pitcher, Rumspringa
DCOMB has several Jungle Gym members on their roster, so they're used to head trainer Geoff Morehart wearing them out. This time he did it on the kickball field, instead of the gym though. Morehart's line: 2-2, 3B, HR, 6 RKIs, 3 shutout innings, and a strikeout recorded. Goodness.
Ryan Greene, Charger, WAKA Shame
Greene's 2 run triple in the 2nd put WAKA Shame on the board, and his excellent defense at charger helped keep the KILFs off of it.
Aaron "Bobby" Kippes, Catcher, Ballz Deep
If we just looked at Aaron "Bobby" Kippes' offensive performance Wednesday (2-2, R), that alone probably would have been good enough to earn POTW honors. However, he had the play of the night. With the tying Jelly headed home, Kippes deflected a relay throw into the runner to record the clutch out. I don't think my description does it justice, so check out the clip on YouTube.
Bryan "NoShoes" Moore, Charger, Kick Ass
KA's NoShoes capped off a 2 for 2 performance with a tie breaking RKI in the 5th inning against Boom. In the bottom of the 5th, he had a web gem; diving to stop a hard grounder and throwing Josh Joyner heading to third out from his knees.
