Ballsagna Slaps Resting Pitch Face With a Loss

Battlestar reunites in this epic rival game as they duke it out for a win!  OK, we didn't reunite per se and it wasn't that epic, but it WAS epic fun! It was rumored that Alison Kirsteatter called a hit out for Karen "Silent Killer" Savell, Mark Thompson, George Kiriazidis, Jason Wieszek and Joe Stumpo to break their legs off and throw their bodies onto the train tracks right before the game but that plan was thwarted by Joe's MIB crew when they got wind of it that morning.  It was reported that they were able to capture her and her hit man and force them to watch reruns of Barney and Friends and Dora the Explorer, and endure constant scratching on a chalk board for hours until they cried 'uncle'.  It must have worked because we're all still alive. Whew!  Who knew she could be so EVIL?!?!  Thanks, Joe!  Wow, your men are awesome torture experts! :)  So the game played on...

Don't let her smile fool you. She will do anything to kill her former teammates.
I'm pretty sure Jacob was in on it too...

Ballsagna chose 'away' and started off strong with a 3 up-3 down defense in the first inning, then with Mark "Rabbit" Thompson getting on and scoring from Andrew Lowell's bunt.  Rabbit was 2/2 with 2 runs in this game and seems almost unstoppable in every game (thank goodness...) Lowell was also 2/2 with one run and an RKI. Pascal Baumeler was also 2/2 and 2 RKI's. (Yep, he's a keeper!) Karen Savell was 1/2 single with one run (and oh, how she wishes she could bring her 11/14 stats over from VA Freedom!! Hustle hard!!)  The entire line up fought hard to get runs across the plate and they all did a fine job. Even the Silent Killer made a 1st to 3rd run. (Thanks, base coaches!)  Pitch Face held strong at the plate, though.  There were 2 instances where Ballsagna runners were tagged out at home plate. IN YOUR PITCH FACE tags, bro!  They mean business!  If you try to force a run they will make you pay the price! Just a warning, WAKA! You heard it here. (I think Joe's forehead is still red...)

I think I'm getting the hang of this game! 2/2

Defensively, Ballsagna made some spectacular plays as well.  Lisa Fabila caught a line drive at third base with ease.  Having no need to hug that ball to her chest, she caught that hard kicked ball cleanly with her hands.  Ashley Jones grabbed a catch at the second base position, and a line drive was kicked at the Silent Killer's toes in the short stop position but she went down and was able to scoop that shit up for a solid out. Way to go, ladies!!  John "Vroom Man" Vrooman pitched a solid game and even let the Rabbit get in a little south paw action on the mound for a few innings.  You know, just to shake things up.  Well, it didn't shake them up too much.  They were still kicking the crap out of it and sometimes even finding holes.  A bunt was made down first but Rabbit couldn't get to it in time to pick it up and throw it so he tried making a kick pass instead to first baseman Ben Ottman, but the ball punched through and the runner was able to advance to second.  That was the only time Pitch Face was able to get into scoring position and in turn he was the only run to score for them. (Thanks a lot, Mark...)

I will not kick pass.  I will NOT kick pass.  Kick passing is bad. I will not kick pass...

Final score 8-1

Ballsagna FACE!!!!!!!!!!!
