Kick A$$ "Works Out" Win Against WAKA'm To The Jungle

     Hey!!! It's me again. Better late than never, right?!  The Silent Killer is back in full form and I've joined up with some Kick A$$ people this season.  Why?  Just cuz, dude. Gotta throw off the Silent in me and mesh with different peeps and socialize and stuff.  Ok, that and Manny asked me for several seasons and I finally caved, all right??  Anyway, we've got a mash up of Kick A$$ and Just For Kicks players all up in this team to make it bust with talent.  Lots of lefty talent on the mound this year, and excellent hands and speed at catcher and charger. We've got some newbies as well that are itching to learn and play hard! It's gonna be fun!!!

     Our first test was against WAKA'm To The Jungle consisting of Geoff Morehart as captain and all his Jungle Gym work out peeps!  And they are FAST and.....healthy! Looking good Jungle peeps! If we ever play you again this season, I wanna see all the guys shirtless and flaunt it! ;)
     In our first inning Manny Anderson was the only run to make it across the plate to pull ahead 1-0.
     Jungle Gymers fought back with 1 out and bases loaded.  Things were looking pretty good for a sac fly score, but it was kicked to Lisa Fabila at 3rd base and she caught it. Randy Devlin tagged 3rd and ran for home but Lisa tossed the ball to Wes McClain and he gunned it at Devlin's feet one step from the plate for a double play and no score! (pause for appalause)  That was the last time Jungle treatened to score against Kick A$$.
     The 5th inning was interesting.  2 kickers went up and 2 were thrown out.  Journey Thomas lead a 2 out rally by bunting up 3 where Brian Neal came up with a miss throw to 1st and Journey was able to advance to 2nd.She was the only Kick A$$ female to make it on base. Woohooo!!  (By the way, Brian was accurate ALL NIGHT LONG except for that one incident.  He's a BEAST!!) Back to the top of the line up!  Manny bunts down 3 and gets on first (duh...) and Journey advances to 3rd.  Juice Fitz bunts down 3rd and bases are loaded.  Eric Stevens booted it to center field for a double bringing the score to 3-0 and that's where the score stayed.
The WAKA'm To The Jungle team is full of SPEED and talent for sure!  It was an interesting battle of the lefties on the mound for both teams (Geoff, Hasan "Hass Dooby" Dubois, etc.) so it was difficult to even kick a straight bunt with all that speed and wicked lefty rotation.
 What a fun and exciting game!! Kick A$$ has a double header coming up next against Fireballs and Situation.  Hopefully we'll eek out some more wins!
