Kick A$$ Clobbers the KILF's in Epic Battle

Well, it really wasn't a clobbering. More of a scratching and clawing contest until the final inning!
The KILF's brought in the first run in the very 1st inning, but KA answered right back.  It was 1-1 through a rigorous battle in the next 4 innings with a lot of 3 up, 3 down action.  Both defenses were AWESOME in this game.  In the 4th inning is where things got interesting.  With Hass Dooby on 3rd, Kelsey Nickole made a nice bunt down 3 and got on from a bad throw at first leaving Dooby free to run in for the go ahead run.
At 2-1 in the 5th, KA had the confidence to hold them for the win but the KILF's had different plans. With 1 out, they were able to load the bases and make a threat to score!  A low hard kick was made toward 3rd base and Wes McClain scooped it up and kind of forgot there was a base behind him to tag.  He made an off-target throw to home and the runner went in safe! If we had beer cans, tomatoes and heads of lettuce we would have all thrown them at him just then for forgetting the tag, but instead we just heckled him until he cried.  Soooooo, now with still 1 out, the game was tied at 2-2 and bases are STILL loaded!  (Thanks Wes!!) Fortunately the next kicker popped the ball up to first baseman Nick Schmidt who caught it and ran it in to keep runners from advancing. With 2 outs, bases loaded and the score is tied, the next kicker kicks  low hard line drive to 3rd base where Wes McClain scooped it up and........wait for it.......wait some more..........he actually remembered that there was a base he could tag nearby, so he did. (Yay, Wes!!! We love you again!)
With the score tied, KA was back at the top of the line up!  Juice Fitz and Nick Schmidt got on base and Eric Stevens bunted up 1 to push them around into scoring position.  With 1 out, Patrick Smith booted the ball to center field where it was caught but they couldn't get the ball back in soon enough before Fitz, with his lightning fast, speedy self, ran in for the walk-off winning run!
Game over!!!! 3-2
