Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. As written in the Declaration of Independence, these are unalienable rights. And while these rights are universal to all mankind, they require constant protecting. Thankfully, in the United States, we have the greatest military in the world on a mission to guard our ability to live free and pursue happiness... Like kicking a rubber kickball, running around the field, and enjoying each other's company at the bar later.
In the WAKA VA Peninsula League, we have several friends who have served in the Armed Forces. Every Veterans Day, we like to take the time to thank them all. If I have missed anyone, please let me know, and I will be happy to update the list.
