WAKA VA Raptor End of Season Details!

The brackets are set for the 5th Annual WAKA VA Raptor Kickball Championship! Congratulations to THE SITUATION for earning the top seed in the tournament. Let's look at the schedule and cover a couple of key points/reminders.

Tournament Guidelines/Notes

A couple of key points to call out. 

• There is no RPS during the playoffs. The higher seeded team has the choice to select home or away. 
• We do not have a time limit for the playoffs because there are no limitations on the park. However, out of respect for each other, we're going to ask that everyone do what they can to avoid unnecessary delays. (be ready to start on time, avoid excessive warming up in between innings, etc). 
• In the case of a tie after 5 innings, the game will continue until there is a winner under modified "Kansas City" rules. 8 players on the field on defense (4 male/4 female). The last out from the previous inning also starts on 2nd base. 
• The mercy rule is automatic in the playoffs. If at any point after the 3rd inning a team has a 12 run lead, the game is concluded. 

End of Season Party!

Don't forget that Saturday night (7 PM), we'll be closing out our season with a big pajama party at Checkered Flag (map). We'll have FREE kegs of Bud Light and FREE food for all WAKA Raptor players! Additionally, we'll have $3 bombs and 20% off food not included in the buffet! So get your evening wear ready because this is a PAJAMA JAMMIE JAM!

 - Brent
