Falling Into Fashion

If I had to think of 3 things in my life that consume most of my daily activities, I have to say Friends, Family, and Fashion, would be at the top of my list.  So when WAKA Wednesday comes around, I have the pleasure of saying I get to encounter a little of each of these treasures.  I am fortunate enough to even be on the team Forcing Third Base, who have team members who run the company FMBLifebrand.  You may have seen some of their amazing swag around War Memorial Stadium the past few seasons. 

Their motto, “Family Is More Than Blood”, is a movement they have created bringing people of various backgrounds together through loyalty and love, very much like WAKA.  I have to say the commissioners we have most definitely demonstrate that same motto on a daily basis as they bring our Hampton Roads community together as head honcho of Hampton Roads= Brent Wentworth, Mike Kern-CLUB WAKA Ultimate Frisbee, and Brian Neal= CLUB WAKA Peninsula show below. 

Also, fun fact, if you have ever seen the FMB gear in person, you may have wondered what the significance of the crown is.  According to their website http://www.fmblifebrand.com/ the 4 points in the crown signify respect, loyalty, commitment, and trust.  Coincidentally, CLUB WAKA, which originated in 1998, has similar core values which are Live Fun, Do the Right Thing, Family First, and Strength in Community.  I certainly see a strong pattern here.
