We'll drink to that. |
A couple people asked for clarification of the scoring last night. Per the published CLUBWAKA rules:
- Minimum of one guy and one girl are required to avoid a forfeit. Up to 6 people can bowl at once. Top 4 scores count. (There is no gender requirement. It's top four total on the team)
- If your team has less than 4 people, any missing players will be scored at an automatic 75. The only way 75 is added is if you have less than 4 people. If you have just 4 people, all of their scores count no matter what the scores are. In addition, if any of the top 4 players on the opposing team does not score at least a 75, those scores will be counted as 75. (The lane manager had incorrectly put in 150, but this was corrected. Going forward it'll show 75 for "ghost" players.)
- Each match will consist of two games. 1 point awarded for winning each of the 2 games and 1 point for scoring the most points when both games’ top 4 scores are added together.
This is our first season of bowling, so we're open to feedback. We're already working on the spring season plans, so if the consensus is to modify any of these rules, we can certainly do so before the next season. No changes will be made to the rules during this season, however. If you have any suggestions or feedback, please let Keith (keith@kickball.com) know.

Trick Shotz' Dottie Wentworth had her camera last night and took a few fantastic pics (seriously, we have some attractive bowlers in this league! Way sexier than the 'serious' league on the other side!). You can find them all on Facebook at this link. Be sure to do some liking, tagging, and sharing.
Great week 1! Thank you all for joining and I hope you all had as much fun as I did. Remember, for any questions or feedback, please let Keith or myself know. Can't believe I'm looking forward to next Monday already!
