VA Peninsula Bowling - Winter '16-17 Superlatives

Just a couple of random observations as we look back on a successful winter season. I took a look at the total scores and averages throughout the season and here are some of the standouts! (Note: stats are from weeks 1-7. The championship round was never updated by the league secretary).

MALE MVP

Guy Sumrell (Rumspringa Slingas) His187 average score lead the league.
Ed Aaron (Evil Empire) and Daniel Shaw (Bowley McBowlface) were close behind with 184 and 183 averages.

FEMALE MVP

Jess Yelkovich (Bowley McBowlface) topped all ladies with a142 average.
Balls & Splits' Stacy Deibel was 2nd with a 139 average. Fresh Prince's Tabitha Jefferson was 3rd (135).

MOST IMPROVED MALES

Ed Aaron (Evil Empire) After averaging a 158 in week 1, Ed got better and better each week, raising his final average by 26 pins and leading the Empire to the league title.
Ian Gilpatrick (Split Happens) increased his average by 25 pins. Balls & Splits' Kippy Holbrooks improved his average from 128 to 149 (21 pins).

MOST IMPROVED FEMALES

Katie Bruce (Trick Shotz) improved by 21 pins from the start of the season. Split Happens' Alaena Moyer improved by 19 pins. Jess Yelkovich and Dana Mackey both improved by 18 pins over time. And I'd be remiss if I didn't give a shout out to my beautiful wife, Dottie Wentworth. She upped her average by 17 pins from week 1 to 7!
