Thank you for joining us for the 2nd Annual CLUBWAKA Charity Beach Volleyball Tournament at Paradise Ocean Club. This year we will have 20 teams competing for 4v4 sand bragging rights while raising money and donations for the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank!
As we prepare for an outstanding event, please review this post for important information and details about the tournament.
SCHEDULE & TOURNAMENT FORMAT
- This tournament will be "World Cup" style. There are 4 pools of 5 teams each that will play each other in a series of round robin games.
- Each team will have four pool play games. These games will consist of 1 set played to 25 points.
- The top two teams from each pool will advance to a single elimination tournament in the afternoon to determine the champion.
- Ties in pool play will be broken by head to head results followed by total points allowed.
- The elimination games will be best 2 out of 3 sets. Each set will be played to 21 (win by 2).

PARADISE OCEAN CLUB
The tournament will be played at Paradise Ocean Club (490 Fenwick Rd, Ft. Monroe, VA 23651)You may bring water or sports drinks for personal consumption, however all outside food and alcohol is strictly prohibited. Violation of this policy may be grounds for dismissal from the tournament.

Each player must check in with the CLUBWAKA staff prior to playing to receive your complimentary swag bag. Additionally, Paradise Ocean Club will require each attendee, playing or not, to show ID and receive a wristband.TANK TOPS / SHIRTS

CHARITY RAFFLE
In addition to proceeds from each registration being donated, we are also hosting a raffle to benefit the Foodbank. Prizes will include two $50 CLUBWAKA codes, a one-month membership to Orangetheory, a gift card for Olde Towne Tavern, and more!For every non-perishable canned good you bring, you will receive a raffle ticket. You can also purchase single raffle tickets for $2 or 3 for $5. 100% of the revenue collected will be donated to the Foodbank.
RULES
Please familiarize yourself with the CLUBWAKA sand volleyball rules.- Maximum of 4 players on the court per team per game (4 vs. 4)
- Must have at least 2 players of each gender on the court for an official game
- We will use standard rotating rules, so if you have more than 4 people who show up, they will just rotate in after each side-out.
