Hampton Kickball - Winter Week 5 Updates

Kickballers. Last week was, of course, rained out and unfortunately, this week isn't looking much better. Yeesh.

Forecasts have been known to be wrong, however. We'll be monitoring the conditions closely and if we need to postpone again, we will notify the league by email and Facebook.

I'll be missing kickball this week either way. It's my son Tripp's third birthday party tomorrow, so I'll be eating cake and ice cream. The wonderful Anna Rigg is on point for tomorrow if you guys have any questions or need anything. She's on Fetch (hot pink) and here is my favorite photo of her:

Hi!

NEW KICKBALL RULE UPDATES

As most of you saw or have heard about, CLUBWAKA has introduced new rules for the game of kickball designed to increase playing time, plate appearances, and action in the field. The summary:
  • Games are 7 innings or 55-minutes long
  • The number of fouls is now 3
  • The number of players in the field is reduced to 10
  • Any ball kicked by a male that comes to a natural stop prior to the 1st/3rd line is a foul ball
These rule changes are in effect for all spring leagues. However, the new rules are NOT in effect for the remainder of the winter league season.

Here are the spring kickball leagues that are open for registration now. Each of these leagues begins in April.

Of course, if you want to try something other than kickball, we got you covered. Volleyball, bowling, flag football, softball - Spring leagues open at clubwaka.com.

Thank you all for a great season so far! Keep those fingers crossed for tomorrow!
