The regular season has wrapped up and we're ready for the playoffs! Let's take a look at the action this past and preview the upcoming tournament.
WEEK 8 RESULTS
UNSUPERVISED 9, FETCH 1
In a preview of this weekend's first-round matchup, The Unsupes defeated Fetch, 9-1. While the game was mostly lopsided, there was at least one highlight for Hot Pink. In the 4th inning, charger James Crippen made a pretty diving catch to rob me of a line drive single.

PURPLE NURPLES 10, TBD 4
The Purps took the victory to officially clinch the 2 seed.
TBD 21, FETCH 8
This game was a lot closer than the final score would indicate. Going into the 5th inning, the score was actually 10-8, but the TBD offense exploded. 11 runs in the final frame give them the lopsided victory. Tyler Smith kicked his first career home run and Carla Ray, Kristen Morton, Rachel Larson, and JaNae Ormond were lights out at the plate to lead the onslaught. TBD had scored 21 total runs in their first 7 games combined before doubling it in game 8.
UNSUPERVISED 6, PURPLE NURPLES 1
Brad Gault struck out Will Menzies, but it wasn't enough to topple the undefeated Unsupervised squad.
Here are the final standings for the regular season.
Curtis Blauch was pretty happy about clinching the top seed.

TBD (3-5) Purple Nurples (5-3)
1 PM CHAMPIONSHIP GAME
Winners of the two semi-final games.
Some Playoff Notes:
- The higher ranked seed gets choice of Home/Away. There is no RPS.
- The mercy rule is automatic. If a team is up by 12 or more runs after the third inning the game is called.
- If a team is tied at the conclusion of 5 innings, extra innings will be played under "Kansas City Rules"
- 8 players on defense (4 men and 4 women)
- Last out of the previous inning begins on 2nd base
