BUCKETHEADS BEACH GRILL
This great bar off of Shore Drive features plenty of televisions, friendly staff, awesome prices, and award-winning burgers and wings. Bucketheads recently upgraded multiple TVs, including a new giant flat screen. Plenty of options to catch your favorite matchup.
PAUL'S DELI & NEIGHBORHOOD RESTAURANT
Paul's is not a traditional 'Sports Bar' but there are multiple TVs in the bar area. There are also a couple TVs on their back patio, so catching the game shouldn't be an issue. What stands out about Paul's is the INCREDIBLE Greek, Italian, & American food options, the affordable prices, and the outstanding beer selection. If you're up in the 'Burg, check them out.
COUNTY GRILL
Speaking of beer selection, it really doesn't get much better than County Grill in Yorktown. 30 different beers always on rotation, so you don't have to get bored while drinking the sorrows of your busted bracket away. Of course, I'd be derelict of my blog duties if I didn't rave about the BBQ and the wings. I give them both an A++, which is the highest grade available in the Wentworth Food Review Index. If you don't want to get out to York County, they have a 2nd location in Hampton available as well.BUFFALO WILD WINGS
Wings. Beer. Sports. I mean, it's right there in the slogan! With big screen TVs everywhere you look, you won't miss a second of the action. Of course, they're known for their wide variety of wing flavors as well. Buffalo Wild Wings is not only the official sponsor of the NCAA Basketball Tournament, but it's also the postgame clubhouse for our Wednesday Night Kickball league in Hampton. Can't go wrong with the king of sports bars.STUFT
The hottest spot in town, right in the heart of Phoebus. Great atmosphere, dope burritos, and plenty of space to bring a group of friends. Don't forget the Haas Sauce!
THE OOZLEFINCH CRAFT BREWERY
If you're looking for good beer (who isn't?) then you can not do better than Oozlefinch. This award-winning craft brewery is always churning out the best brews. Why not watch the games in their tap-room while enjoying a cold IPA or Stout? If you get hungry, head out to the food truck and grab a quick bite.
Regardless of where you plan on watching the games, I hope you do so responsibly and I hope your bracket is not as trash as mine (I really thought ODU had a good shot at the National Championship).
Every week you can see CLUBWAKA members hanging out at all of these excellent bars, restaurants, and breweries. Each of them is a partner bar for one of our great sports leagues. For more information and to join a CLUBWAKA league, please visit clubwaka.com/hampton-roads.
