CLUBWAKA Summer Bowling - Championship Preview

Playoffs week is complete! The scores are in and the match-ups are set! Who will hoist the trophies after the Championship this Sunday?!?

Playoffs Results: 

REMINDER: The playoffs/championship will take place over two weeks of games under the same gameplay and scoring rules as the regular season. The winners of the two trophies will be determined by the highest Team Pin Totals combining the scores from both weeks of playoffs (four games).

Domestic Beer Division:

Win or Lose, We Still Booze: 1203

Framed:                                      -6

Obviously Not Golfers:            -30

Dang!!!:                                  -110

Livin' On A Spare:                 -150

Win or Lose, We Still Booze went from fifth to first with their highest score of the season! However they will be missing their team high scorer - James Tierney - for Championship week and Framed is right on their heels - only six pins behind! This was a season low score for a full strength Framed, so they will be looking to get back to their usual pin-falling ways this week. Obviously Not Golfers is also not far behind and they definitely know how to bring their A-game for the finals. Some attendance issues left season leader Dang!!! in an unfamiliar trailing position, but they still find themselves in a good position to make a comeback for the trophy. It's rumored that Livin' On A Spare will be back to full strength this week with Player 7 in tow - now that's team dedication!

It's not often that the season high scorer is on a Cup Trophy Division team, but that is what we have this season. Brad Gault is leading Orange Crushin' Dem Pins and has them in prime position to claim the Cup Trophy. Attendance issues in Week 4 kept them out of the Domestic Beer Division, but they would still be in the lead! It has happened before that the Cup Division winner out scored the Domestic Beer winner - will it happen again?

Lane Assignments:

The lane assignments for the final Championship Week are assigned based on division standings from the playoffs week: 1v2, 3v4, 5v6, 7v8, 9v10.

There are THREE different ways to earn points this week! You can do one or all or multiple entries of any to rack up all the points before the deadline - the deadline will give me time to total all the points before announcing the winner at the lanes!

• WRITE: Write about your favorite CLUBWAKA Bowling moment or memory!
  • Writing Bonus: Include in your answer a memory with another player!
• PICTURE: Take a picture wearing a CLUBWAKA shirt at a non-CLUBWAKA event or doing a non-CLUBWAKA activity!
  • Picture Bonus: Have multiple team members in the same picture!
• VIDEO: Take a video “bowling” with non-bowling items (must have at least 3 “pins”)!
  • Video Bonus: Set up a 10 “pin” rack and get a strike!
