You know how week 1 was awesome? Week 2 was arguably better.
Here were the Week 2 scores:
Yeah.. 2 ties.. Great ball games.
Here are where we stand:
Still no forfeits after 8 games, which is always good.
Here is this week's schedule as well as reffing assignments.
Moving forward, I will do my best to keep teams on the same field as they are reffing to cut down on migration (unlike the first two weeks (sorry about that)). In this week's case, there's really nothing I could do for Field 2 / 1pm games - for that I apologize.
As a reminder - we have post game celebrations (or drowning sorrows) at County Grill. They have great specials and it's a good time to mingle with everybody. As a reminder, here are their specials:
$7 Bud Light pitchers, $12 select craft pitchers, $5 margaritas, $4 bombs $13.99 wing buckets, $7 bar nachos, $6 and $10 hot dog combos, $5 chips/queso
If you haven't joined the Facebook Group yet, you missed out on this little gem. Instead of waiting several days to see it here, you can see it in real time (as this was also live streamed) or at least shortly after the game.
Look at them moves!
Here are some shoutouts from Week 2:
Rey Cruz with an outstanding catch in the outfield - wait, is this deja vu? I think it is because all this dude does is make plays.. Which in this case, saved at least one run in a game that ended in a scoreless tie.
Randall Hammond for doing stuff. (What Brent meant to say was - Randall robbing all of us Boos players of bases by making great plays)
Nick Schmidt and David Gibson were tremendous on the mound for Bragging Rights too.
Wesley McClain made an awesome throw from deep in the hole to get a crucial out late in the game as well. Good overall defensive game today between BR and BOF
Scott Tinsley - with his little league t-ball home run.. Congrats?
Melissa Wellington - She was a social butterfly at the bar. She even forgave me for putting up a not-so-flattering picture of her (I swear, it was unintentional!) in an attempt to return a jacket left at the field. I'll be nice and not put the aforementioned unflattering pic.. Instead, I'll put one of her meeting two new people. :)
Last but not least - FETCH. Their first non-loss of their franchise! This team knows how to have fun and now they're on the non-losing trend! Another reminder about some of the Spring leagues coming up. Gotta move fast because some are selling out fast.

Beer Pong - Do you like beer pong? Do you like winning money? Guy Fieri's puts on beer (water) pong tournaments every Thursday at 8pm.. Free to enter.. Prize? $100. Can't get much better than that... Oh wait - can it? YES IT CAN. On top of the potential to get free money, Guy's also $6 pitchers and pizzas.
Thank you for your time in reading this. I'll see y'all on the field!
