Battlestar Ballsacktica lands on the Peninsula

Several NKotB players will be aboard the new Battlestar.
HAMPTON, VA - On Wednesday, the news came out that Fall 2010 rookies New Kicks on the Block would not be returning to compete in the 2011 Spring WAKA VA Peninsula League. However, out of the ashes of NKotB, a new team has risen. Andy Tapley has created a new group under the banner of Battlestar Ballsacktica (probably the best VA Peninsula team name since the heyday of "Wilfred Brimley's Mustache Ride").

Tapley indicated that several of the NKotB alumni will be invited to join the new squad, but they'll also be looking to add some new talent. Will the Battlestar Ballsactica be able to conquer the Peninsula division this Spring? Only two short months until the season blasts off!

UPDATE (2/10/2011): Per Courtney in the comments, the rumors of NKotB's retirement may have been exaggerated!

    Mr. Wentworth...before posting that new kicks on the block will not be returning you should probably talk to the captain so you can get the story straight....just sayin
