SbtB sign pitcher Brad Gault

Brad Gault kicks away.
HAMPTON, VA - Free agent pitcher Brad Gault announced on his Facebook page today that he plans on signing a contract to pitch for Saved by the Balls this spring in WAKA VA Peninsula competition.

In a statement released on Wednesday, Gault said, "It was a natural decision to sign with SbtB this season and be on the cutting edge of an up an coming dynasty."

Gault said that he was drawn to the former HRSSC after bonding over Bud Light pounders at Luckie's after several games last season. The league has not officially commented as to whether or not there will be a tampering investigation.

"Last season's Gators have a lot of talent... They will be a force to be reckoned with this coming season." Gault went on, "However, very few Gators showed up at Luckies last season and so I was informally adopted by the Socials."

"We're very excited.", Saved by the Balls' Allison Hund said when reached for comment, "Brad, a gentle giant off the field, brings experience and credibility to SbtB."

This will be Gault's third season of WAKA play. Previously he played for Balls & Dolls and the TailGators.

On the prospects of joining a team which failed to win or tie a single game last season, Gault made a bold prediction.

"This newly named team has a lot of work to do, but I am personally guaranteeing a win for SbtB!"
