On Saturday, Just For Kicks and The Emperors Club, will be competing in the Virginia Beach Kickball Open. Some of the best teams from Florida, Georgia, Washington, DC, and New York will be in attendance, all battling for cash prizes in in the thousands, but more importantly bragging rights.
The VIPs are ranked #12 in the #14 team field, while JFK is ranked #13. Despite the low seedings, both teams have put together very impressive teams by adding members of Rumspringa, Chubby Gangsters, NKotB, and the Jagernauts to their rosters. Either team has the potential to potentially upset some of the higher ranked teams.
But the VIPs and JFK won't be the only ones representing the Peninsula. Several Peninsula players also play in VA Southside and will be attending with those teams. Victory in Da Feet is a team that is nearly full of Peninsula players including Chis "Bundy" LeBlanc, Dave Dixon, James Salgado, Nicole Schaeffer, Jimmy Wilcox, Bryan "NoShoes" Moore, Noelle Walsh (VD), Eric Stevens (JFK), Ant Williams, and Patrick Jones (VIPS). JFK's Phil Nadolski will also be competing in the tournament with his Thursday night Norfolk team, Back in Black.
We wish all the VA Peninsula players and teams luck as they battle for kickball supremacy! Represent!
