Kickballers! 
The wait is almost over! In just 6 short days we'll be lacing up our cleats and kicking the big red rubber ball around the War Memorial outfield before heading on out to Luckie's for some sweet drinks, dancing, and games!
I want to thank you all for signing up to play WAKA Kickball. This is the 10th season of VA Peninsula and it's the biggest one yet! We have 16 teams and over 280 players competing and partying every Wednesday night!
Just wanted to go over a few updates before we kick off!
Schedule Released
The Fall 2011 Schedule is now posted online! Please check it out here. Every team is scheduled for 12 games over 11 weeks (one double header).
Rules
Please be sure to check out the Official WAKA rule book and FAQs online at www.kickball.com/rules. Not only will this help you perform on the field, but it will help you when it's your turn to refferee. Each team is responsible for reffing 6 games over the course of the season (as outlined in the schedule). Don't worry though, before the Week 1 games at 6 PM, we will be having a Ref Clinic to help explain all the rules and best practices. Please be sure to show up early, especially if it's your first time playing. Well worth the time.

Be sure to book mark the blog and check it throughout the season for Game Previews, Recaps, Interviews, Power Polls, the Bar Buzz Championship, pictures, videos, and other random crap... It's the one stop source for all News and Notes around the VA Peninsula League!
