Ballsacks Get Smeared by SnB, 10-3

Can I just say the 80's theme week ROCKED?! Well, I just did. And apparently I wasn't the only one excited about it... with over 300 posts on 80's music suggestions in the WAKA Facebook group, we've learned that Kim Merritt doesn't have a life LOTS of us rocked it out "All Night Long" during that part of our lives! (See what I did there?) "What a Feeling" it was to see so many people participating in this 80's "Celebration". Yep, I did it again... hey it's my write up and it's "My Prerogative"! When the Ballsacks heard "The Message" that it was an 80's theme, they went all out and played at the AGE LEVEL that they were in the 80's. Who knew that SnB didn't get that part of the memo??!? :/

Battlestar tried to "Fight the Power" of Shake and Bake but it was just "Nasty". They were "Hungry Like the Wolf" and the Ballsacks were "Living on a Prayer". "Time After Time" SnB kept running over the plate. ("Do You Really Want To Hurt Me?") We tried to "Pump Up the Jam" and keep the "Faith", but we just played "Bad". SnB's defense was tighter than Scott Duncan's pink panty hose! The Ballsacks tried to come "Back to Life" but we just kept "Free Fallin". We did "Relax" for a few innings and made some good plays. Andy Tapley struck out a kicker at the plate. I think she was just mesmerized from seeing rock star, Mike Graziano, jamming on his air guitar out in center field... or maybe it was "The Lady in Red", Nicole Plesha, lookin' HOT at 3rd base. Whatever the case, it was a strike out for Andy! Jason Weiszek went to "Bust a Move" and made some awesome catches and even ran down a runner between 2nd and 3rd and tagged him out. Karen Savell made a nice catch as she pulled a low line drive kick in from right field. Let me tell ya, it's "Just Like Heaven" when you make a catch like that! (any footage of that?? Anyone? Anyone?)
"Honesty", "Love Hurts"... and so does getting yer butt kicked in a game of kickball. SnB had "The Eye of the Tiger" and gave the Ballsacks the "Ice Ice Baby". So what else is there to do but get drunk and go "Safety Dance"?! So, after getting whipped soundly (Whip It Good??) with a score of 10-3 we took our beaten butts and our "Money" and headed to Luckies to "Rock The Casbah". ("Rock Me Amadeus" and give me some of that "Funky Cold Madina"!) "We're Not Gonna Take It" lying down, ya know... the team decided to take part in karaoke night and do the Ballsack version of "The Bohemian Rhapsody"!!!  I'm not sure if I should feel proud or hurl chunks but... please watch at your own risk...





All in all we had a heck of a good time! Yeah, we played "Like A Virgin" but the Ballsacks "Don't Stop Believin" in getting a win this season. We hung "Into the Groove" with some pretty good teams this season until this last game, and our schedule will be getting a little easier from now on.

Hey, "Everybody Wants To Rule the World", but WAKA sure ruled mine that night! "You Shook Me All Night Long"! "Welcome To The Jungle" boys and girls...Welcome to 80's WAKA!!!!!!!
