WAKA Kicks Cancer, Register Today!!!

Calling all Peninsula Kickballers, our Relay for Life team: WAKA KICKS CANCER is now open for registration. For those of you living under a rock, Relay for Life is a worldwide event to spread awareness, celebrate survivors, remember those no longer with us, unite communities and perhaps most importantly, raise money for cancer research in hopes of finally finding cure.

For new kickballers, last year our team kicked a homerun in passing our goal and raising over $4,000 for the American Cancer Society!!! This season we're looking to the best kickball league in the country to help us have our best year yet!

Everyone knows someone or knows someone who knows someone that has been affected by cancer, reach out to family, friends, co-workers or employers (some companies will match what you raise dollar for dollar) and let's get the donations rolling in and make a difference.

It only costs $10 to register and that goes right into our team's donation total, plus you get a sweet T-shirt just for signing up so you're really doing yourself a disservice if you stay on the sidelines.

This year our team will be Relaying on June 22nd at Todd Stadium in Newport News.
