The Situation returns to the Hampton looking for their third title on this side of the water, after capturing last year's Fall VA Peninsula and VA Raptor championships. The super competitive Peninsula league will serve as a great tuneup for the 2013 WAKA Founder's Cup championship, where Sitch will be looking to improve on last year's runner-up finish.
This won't be a full Sitch squad, but will be led by core members and Southside douchers (sans Josh Waldrop): Kyle Lewis, Jeremy Edge, Blake Kalaikai, Scott Duncan, Waldrop, Will Monroe, Kearsten Lewis, and Rachel Wigand. Making their debuts playing with Sitch on the Peninsula are Courtney & Gene Efird, and John LaNeave. Add Jimmy Wilcox, Ant Williams, Noelle Walsh and some Peninsula rookies to the mix and you have a very formidable squad for the season.
The biggest question mark for Sitch will be who actually makes to the games. With the majority of members working on the other side of the water, making 6:30 & 7:30 games could pose a problem. However, with a roster full of All-Peninsula and multi-dimensional players anything less than a championship has to be seen as a disappointment. Every team will be gunning for Sitch and every game figures to be a battle.
