Battlestar-Ballsagna-Be Trippin'!!

Being a member of 3 teams within a few months can be a bit confusing...and fun as hell!! I've got so much stuff to share but never took the time to blog this summer because, hey....who wants to do homework when school is out?! Let's hear some good news from each of the teams I've been juggled around to...

Summer Lovin'

The BalllllllllllllllSACKS had a very eventful summer! Two amazing things happened within a week of each other! In both events, 2 people became one...(Aw man, that was DEEP!)

Baby Machie arrived!! Kara Machie was born to Michael and Erin Machie August 10th, and she is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Congrats to the new parents! I'm sure they will be hitting the WAKA league players up for babysitting soon...

Nicole Plesha and Mike Graziano tied the knot August 17th! They are currently on their honeymoon and enjoying their first trip together as husband and wife. Congrats to the newlyweds!!

So as you guys probably already know by now, this will be my last blog for Battlestar. It was an awesome 2 year run and I had an absolute BLAST with this crew! About 7 of us left on good terms to test the waters of other teams in the league. Well.....there was no knock-down drag-out fight at the wedding so it's all good! Ok, there was a little wedgy and wet willy action during the ceremony, but that was just Battlestar banter...

Farewell, to my Ballsacks! Hello, Pitches!!

Mr. The Bearded feels pretty. Oh, so pretty...

The Draft league was spec-frickin'-tacular! George Kiriazidis and Angie Weatherhead were awesome coaches for the team Pitches Be Trippin'. It was a wonderful experience playing with such talents as Alex "Doc Noc" Noctor, Nick Anderson, Alex Childs, Eric 'The Bearded' Schessl, Geno Searfoss, Jason Jefferson, John Quinn, Ryan Schmid, Kecia Christine (The female version of the ON BASE MACHINE!), Matt Garrett, Justin Ferrell, Mimi Gill (my goodness, what a beautiful smile and personality!), Nolin Lee, ,and the lovely Felicia Griffin. And then there's me in there somewhere...Had some awesome wins, some crappy losses and a comeback game like I've never seen before! We were playing....wait for it....HUMP DAAAAAAAY and they were up 6-3. The top of the 5th had the middle of our line up coming up to kick. I don't know how the heck it happened but our kicks kept punching through! We were able to tie 6-6 but the game wasn't over yet. We still had to hold the top of their line up to win it. Before we knew it, there was one out with bases loaded. All they had to do was kick away for the tag up and a win, but the kick went off the side of his foot and popped up between Nick Anderson and Eric the Bearded...where it ricocheted between them about 17 times before it was caught for out #2. It wsa reported that 3 people passed out from holding their breath during that play!!! ;) The final kick was a bunt down first for the final out. DANG , that was awesome! This team can fight! What a great experience. Thank you, pink Pitches!

Fall Preview- Ballsagna

Color:Charcoal Grey
Captain-George Kiriazidis
Spring 13 Record: 0-0-0
Seasons played:0
All-Time Record:0
Wentworth Trophies: 17 cuz we are badass!! Um...ok, none.

Well, there was a shake up for a break up from Battlestar. 7 players broke it off and came together to form the new Ballsagna. The creeper, wretched defectors that they are, are: George, Denny "Sgt. Leo" Leneord, Mark "Rabbit" Thompson, Nicole Plesha Graziano, Mike Graziano, Lorraine Adkins,  and Karen "Silent Killer" Savell. (Third person alert!!) Other recruits are Brian Neal, Holly Lenard, Jon Lenard, and John Vrooman who all come from 'Who's Driving Home?' Also Brandon Accordino, Anna Boffo, Irene Mitchell, Karl (with a K) Schultz, Mike Harvey, Patrick Jones, Stephen McGrew II, and Tim Paetz.  (Don't worry guys and gals. I'll have cool nicknames for ALL of you by the end of the season! Wink, wink!)
As you can see our 0-0-0 record doesn't mean diddly! This team pisses talent and excellence everywhere you turn. We've got depth in charging,  catching, pitching, deep kickers, and kickers with bunts that are so beautiful you'll wanna slap yer momma when you see it. Most of these players have years of kickball and/or softball experience and have excellent base running skills and about half of the players are on, or have been on circuit teams. Bottom line: Our sh** don't stink! Be on the lookout for this uprising team!

P.S.-George told me to say all that. Are you scared??!!
Ballsagna FACE!! err...Sweaty Ballsagna!!...no Bouncy Balls on your...wait...
Um....what's our cheer again?!
