WAKA Kicks Cancer Updates

We're off to a hot start with our annual Relay for Life fundraising efforts! Here's a quick round up of everything we got going on recently!

WAKA Tee-Shirt Quilt Auction 
It's not too uncommon for tee shirt orders to have a couple of duplicates included. Over the years as a CSR, I've accumulated a couple dozen tee shirts. They've pretty much been sitting in a box in my garage until about 3 weeks ago. My beautiful wife, Dottie Wentworth took the shirts and sewed together a great fleece quilt. It turned out great, so we decided to put it on ebay and auction it off, with all the proceeds going to charity. Ballsagna's Brian Neal won the quilt with a generous donation of $138.50!

Koozies for Sale! 

Rumspringa's Brandon Silver designed a really sweet WAKA Kicks Cancer logo, and we slapped it on some koozies! Each koozie is $4 with all proceeds going to the Relay team (of course). WAKA Kicks Cancer Kickball Tournament 
On October 19th, in Hampton, we'll be holding our first ever WAKA Kicks Cancer Kickball Tournament!

• $35 per player registration
• 3 guaranteed games
• WAKA tee shirt
• admission to the VA Peninsula mid-season party at Luckie's for all non WAKA Wednesday players later that night!
