Jabberjaws 8, Dark Horses 2
The elusive Justin Schauf's mad dash from 1st to Home in the first inning gave the Horses an early 1-0 lead. But it was not to last, as the Jabberjaws unleashed an offensive avalanche in the bottom of the inning. The first 7 kickers reached base safely. Every line drive just seemed to miss the hands (hoofs?) of the Dark Horses. The 'Jaws went on to score 8 runs total. Joe Preseault lead the way with 2 doubles, 4 RKIs, and a run scored.
Beast Mode 1, The Situation 1
No team in the league bunts with precision throughout their entire lineup like The Situation. With that arrow taken out of their quiver, it helped even the odds for Beast Mode. Going into the bottom of the 5th, the Beasts loaded the bases with no outs, but weren't able to plate a walk off run against the hard throwing Mark Flores. 1B Alex Jackson caught Keith Morehart's fly ball and relayed the ball home to tag Nick Anderson attempting to tag up to secure the draw.
Flip Cup Trainees 6, #WAKAholics 0
Last week when these two teams squared off, Flip Cup dropped 14 runs on the inexperienced 'Holics. This week, the Hashtaggers played them much more closely. In fact, through four innings, the score was 0-0. But in the top of the 5th, the Trainee's potent week 1 offense emerged and the wheels fell off for Fagel Baer's defense. The Trainees scored six runs and earned their third victory of the young season.
#WAKAholics 4, Breaking Brad 0
Despite a late game collapse in game 1, the #WAKAholics' gained a new found confidence in themselves by holding the FCT scoreless for 4 innings. This certainly carried over into their match with Breaking Brad. They shut out the Brads by displaying reliable hands in the outfield. On offense, they were able to find some holes and exploit them. In the end, the Hashtaggers enjoyed their first ever franchise victory.

They say kickball is a game of inches. In the case of the Devils vs. Trainees, that certainly was the case. In the top of the 5th, Jeremy Smithey drew a bases loaded walk to give the Devils the edge.
Jabberjaws 3, Beast Mode 1
Before the game, Beast Mode fired up the Jabberjaws by repeatedly referring to them as 'cock gobblers'. Well, the only thing that the Jaws were gobbling were their fly balls for outs. Daniel Shaw drove in 2 runs to lead the Jabbers to a double header sweep.
