Bar Buzz: Hallow-THEME - How to Pull Off a Successful Team Costume

It's Halloween, and the pressure is ON! I don't know about you, but I get so stressed out by Halloween!

You can't wear the same costume to each party.
And you can't wear the same costume as last year.
And you have to do serious math to calculate exactly how much candy you need to buy.
And your costume has to be the perfect balance between funny, creative, and relevant.
And you don't want people to have to think to hard about your costume.

And. It's So. Much. Pressure.

And that's just individual costumes.

With group costumes you need 2 things to be successful:
  • costumes
  • decorations
And you want to make sure that if you can't have both, then the one that you do has to knock it out of the park!

So again, this week there a re few key things to remember:

  • Luckies is doing a $300 cash prize for a costume contest
  • You must post your photo to facebook/twitter/instagram using the following hashtags:
    • #HallowTHEME
    • #WAKAvapeninsula
  • I will also be doing prizes for the categories of:
    • Best execution
    • Most creative
    • Most likes on facebook (by 11 PM) (on the photo with the above hashtags)
  • Luckies will have a LIVE BAND: Uncle Funk!
Here are a few ideas to get your costume gears turning:
Things 1-22
Naked Jewel Trolls
Words With Friends/Scrabble
Rollercoaster

Now last week was a ton of fun despite another rain out. I want to thank everyone for coming out and to those who participated in our bar game! Would be great if each team could designate 2 people to participate this week ;)

And Hot Dogs and Tacos, you outdid yourself again. You had the numbers. You did the game. You took the shots. And you're just fun people. But Jeremy, I heard you were taking the belt on a plane last week? Where was the photographic evidence? Where is #barbelttravels? I hope you step it up this week! In fact, I hope to see a lot of step up from other teams!
