BarBuzz - Risky [strictly] Business

This was fun to stmble upon...
While I was sitting in my hotel room seeing all of the posts come through about the games and the
social media #WAKAsuperhero challenge, it made me come to the conclusion that y'all seem ready for a party! So I'll get to midseason (MSP) details at the bottom, but first let's talk about the bar.

Definitely a fave!
Something very interesting happened at the bar last week. Though I saw proof of many people participating in the challenge, when it came time to distribute the points I noticed that there was really only one person from every team posting.

Stephanie Romett for Cardiac Arrest
 Victoria Davis for Foul Balls
Brad Gault for Five Toe Death Kick
Jamie Lacrosse for The Itch
Jonathan Williams for Kick A$$
Chris Storar for KILFs

Literally, go look. One person from each of those
teams was responsible for their posts. Of course not everyone followed directions....like hashtagging. #comeonpeople But I understand that sometimes the pound sign can be tricky. Like, how do you know what part of your post is worthy of a hashtag. #thestruggleisreal. So every team who I saw post photos got 3 points...no one got 5. But that's ok, we always have redemption!

Now, down to business. With the MSP right around the corner, it's time for a THEME NIGHT. And I've gotten a lot of feedback about doing a decades theme. So next week, 5/13, come out to the games coordinated with your teams in tie-dye, flapper dresses, colonial garb, or whatever other decade you choose. Except caveman, I expect everyone to wear pants. And your WAKA approved shirt! This night will have special points and challenges, so stay tuned!
Someone is hiding behind Casey, but I assume you wanted to be?

Next, don't forget the Boozy Brunch Bash on 5/17! We'll be providing a crap ton of mimosas on a first-come-first-serve basis at Harpoon Larry's, and though the time is still being negotiated, you'll want to be on time :)

So looking at the points, it looks like we have some pretty close numbers! With most teams falling in within a point of eachother, and quite a few ties, one team had just one more person represented in the #AMP. Congrats to KILFs on your second week running! Now let's see some pictures of where that belt has been! I haven't seen anything on facebook!

Let's see your best decade on 5/13! And tomorrow's challenge is going to be participation in musical flip cup! Get excited because this game looks so. much. fun.  Here is a really great example of what to expect. Basically it's musical chairs, but with cups. We'll do one big playoff round at the end where the last person standing wins their team the full 5 points. Play along for multiple rounds with multiple teammates and your team gets 4. Etc. See y'all tomorrow!
