BarBuzz - Social Standings

The struggle is real coming up with a challenge every week. I will be the first ti say that I have definitely had some flops of ideas. But then there are some weeks, that are just so spur-of-the-moment that just seem to work.

Last week was one of those. Getting the whole bar together to participate in this game seemed unrealistic. And yet. It happened. Team-members from far and wide of the Land of Luckies came to play the game of Musical Flip Cup. Elite kickballers even participated by placing their bets on which of the flippers would win.

It was a game of wits - each person trying to outrun and outsmart the competition
It was a game of strategy - flippers reaching over the table to steal the cup from the competition
It was a game of amazing strength - I heard people were sore after having to get down after each flip? Talbert?

Out of 3 rounds, Casey Heck won 2 and Talbert Dunn won 1. So the people betting on the games [Nick Schmidt, Bryan Freed, etc.] sure had a fun time trying to figure out who would win!

So while Musical Flip Cup was the most magical game ever, tomorrow is theme week and I have heard quite the buzz about this theme. Decades. I've already heard a few themes buzzing about and I'm dying to know which team pulls off the middle school 90's....considering we're at the Middle School tomorrow.

So with it being theme week, that is the challenge! Come to the bar, take your team picture (5 points) but this time, you'll get 2 points per team-member dressed up in the AMP instead of the usual 1.

Speaking of points, let's take a look at last week. With Casey Heck stealing the show at Musical Flip Cup, SmoYou have worked relentlessly at trying to get to the top and you've done it. Now make me proud with the belt!

Congrats Smokin' Bunts!

With is also being Midseason week, let's take a look at the current social standings before we party hard at brunch this weekend! It's obvious which teams are serious about driving home the social win, but the gap between 1st and 2nd is small, can it be closed before the end of the season?
Five Toe Death Kick and KILFs drive a hard race...who will win the ultimate prize at the end of the year?
So congrats Smokin' Bunt's.
See you all in your throwback gear tomorrow.
See everyone with mimosas in hand Sunday at 12 at Harpoon Larry's.
