Spring 2016 WAKA VA Peninsula Tortolini Realty Conference Second Team

Welcome to the Spring 2016 edition of the postseason All-Peninsula awards.  With a new two conference league comes a new twist to the All-Peninsula teams.  Without any further adieu, I present for you the Tortolini Realty Conference Second Team.

Pitcher - John Vrooman (Fireballs)

This Fireballs flamethrower has been burning offenses for years.  It’s finally time for him to emerge from behind the smoke of anonymity.

Catcher - Scott Tinsley (Fireballs)

Fireballs fought their way to the Tortolini Realty Conference Tournament Final thanks to Scott’s stellar play on both sides of the ball.

Charger - Jay Carr (Peanut Butter Jelly Time)

PBJT will continue to be a contender in every game they play with Jay in the lineup.

First Baseman - Derek Patterson (Foul Balls)

This lovable lefty can baffle the best kickers from the mound and keep the fastest runners honest from first base.

Outfielder - Christopher Tanner (Peanut Butter Jelly Time)

Christopher is another long time great player that’s been under the radar… until now!

Outfielder - PC Sawaengphokhai (Foul Balls)

PC SomeLongName is relatively new to kickball, but has been steadily improving every aspect of his game including the ever important (arguably most important) social game.

Utility - Jose Fabila (Chaotic Kilfs)

Jose excels at anything asked of him which was a major factor behind the Chaotic Kilfs winning the Spring 2016 WAKA VA Peninsula Tortolini Realty Conference Tournament.

Female - Christina Obershaw (Peanut Butter Jelly Time)

The backbone to the PBJT empire, Christina’s talent on the field is second only to her leadership.

Female - Kimberly Bergman (Chaotic Kilfs)

Kim left town on top winning league and one day tournament championships in only her second season of adult kickball.  When will she return to defend her titles?

Female - Kathryn Montgomery (Pitches Be Crazy!)

Kathryn made a name for herself on the field, off the field, and even down the third base line reffing several crucial matchups.

Female - Sheri Lewis (Five Toe Death Kick)

Rounding out this quartet of talented females, the voters have taken notice of Sheri’s kickball prowess.
