It looked like we were going to be able to sneak a few games in but the rain came early. As we're kickball players a little rain doesn't bother us and the field staff was letting us play...game on! And then the lightning arrived. Everyone rolled out of the fields by 7pm, some soaked more than others. The action didn't end there though with Flip Cup night at Bucketheads! The schedule has been updated with this week's games pushed back to next Monday.

Fusion still brought 10 players to the bar even with the rain earning the full attendance points. UNITY hit tier two with 5 players, while Smashers, BBYM, BBYS, Pandas, KR4K all showed up.
- Bar Game - Flip Cup
Expectations were high for many teams headed into Flip Cup night while other teams weren't up to the challenge.
The first match-up of the night was Smashers represented by Ricky versus KR4K. Everyone expected Ricky to fall starting from that far down but the unbelievable happened...he absolutely CRUSHED KR4K in straight rounds and it wasn't even close.
Next up UNITY challenged Pandas. Not quite as decisive as the first match of the night, UNITY still cruised to a win.
The following match was round two for Ricky. Once again he started off strong but then it happened...the volume of water being consumed got to him and an emergency trip to bathroom was needed. In the end Ricky couldn't continue and conceded the match to Fusion.
The finals match-up came down to UNITY and Fusion. Fusion picked up the first round but UNITY followed up with three quick rounds of their own. For UNITY the end was in sight with Fusion down to just Rigo left. But then Rigo won a round, then another round, and all of a sudden it was down to just Josh and Rigo. Rigo got the early lead but Josh was gaining until "The Fall". Josh wasn't able to recover and Rigo pulled off the come from behind win.
Early lead for Rigo "The Fall" Game!
- Weekly Challenge - Pyramid (Photo)
The rain seriously hampered the Pyramid photo challenge but two teams stuck it out through the rain to get their entries in.
-
1st - UNITY managed to get five players stacked in their pyramid with one player suspiciously leaning on the other five...I see those feet on the ground Nicole!
-
2nd - KR4K added flair with the umbrella but fell just short with only three players in the pyramid.

BBYS scored the extremely rare field setup point, while KR4K, UNITY, and Fusion stepped up in the pouring rain to earn field breakdown points.
