Happy Friday kickballers! A few quick updates after a great first night of games on Wednesday.
SHIRTS
To start with, I apologize for not having all of the shirts ready on Wednesday. There was a delay in the shipping so they didn't arrive in time for Wednesday night's games. I do have all of the shirts now, so everyone will be set for week 2. Again, I apologize for the inconvenience.
Thank you all for a smooth week 1. The games all went smoothly and there were no apparent issues. The beers were flowing from the tiki bar and I loved seeing all the happy faces! Continue to keep the positive vibes going each week and this will be a fantastic season!

POSTGAMES - TAPPS
The bar turnout was not great, especially for a week 1. We really do need to do a better job of supporting our sponsor, Tapps. The bar is where you really get to know your teammates and other members of the league. You don't need to close it down or get shit-faced but just swinging by for a postgame drink or bite to eat has a tremendous impact. As a reminder, here are our league specials:- $2.50 Rolling Rocks

CLUBWAKA Kicks Cancer - October 20th, Hampton
Registration is open for the 6th Annual Fall Charity Kickball Tournament! Proceeds will benefit the Sentara Cancer Network. This is definitely the highlight of our year with a minimum 3-4 games, shirt, after party, DJ on the field, fundraising, and much more. I don't even think I can do it justice writing about it here.
