Winter ballers! Another great afternoon of kickball is in the books. It was a little chilly with the wind, but fortunately, the sun was mostly out and the action was HOT.
The league results and standings are updated.
UNSUPERVISED 5, PURPLE NURPLES 2
In a matchup featuring two undefeated teams, the Unsupervised ones overcame Brad Gault's sweet dance moves and took an early season lead in the standings. In other news, Karen Savell did NOT freeze to death, so the Unsupervised did not have to worry about forfeiting.TBD 7, FETCH 3
While Fetch has shown great improvement week over week, they were not able to overcome TBD's explosive offense. The 2-hours of drills that Coach Freed has been putting his squad through before each game have paid off with the first W of the season for The Broken Dicks (I think that's what TBD stands for, right?) Shoutout to Troy Carter for ending the game with a diving catch for the final out. Then at County Grill he accepted a new position as Community Coordinator for our Norfolk Flag Football league! Lots of winning for Mr. Carter on Saturday.WEEK 4 MATCHUPS

WEATHER
It's looking like it's going to be a wet one on Saturday, so we're not planning on adding doubleheaders. We'll monitor the weather and make a call on Saturday morning if there is a need to postpone. If so, we'll send out the info via email and inside the league Facebook group. Hopefully, the forecast changes between now and this weekend.

Reminder: Registration goes up for spring kickball (and other sports) on Friday. To save $5, be sure to register this week at clubwaka.com/hampton-roads.

If you don't have a team, but want to play, no worries. Just join as a free agent and we can get you placed before the season begins. We also have volleyball, bowling, softball, and flag football leagues available for registration as well if you want to try a different jam.
