#WAKAWednesday Kickball - New Bar Sponsor and Updated Rules

All past, present, and future CLUBWAKA Kickballers! We have some exciting news about #WAKAWednesday to share. We have a NEW postgame sponsor, BUFFALO WILD WINGS!



Following our weekly kickball games at War Memorial Stadium, we'll head to Peninsula Towne Center to mingle while we enjoy food and beer specials. $3.50 tall drafts, $7 pitchers, 10% off food, and more rewards.

UPDATED RULES

We've also updated the Official Rules of Kickball recently. Based on player feedback, we're opening up the game and adding more playing time and action on the field! We now play 7-inning games, 10 players in the field, and have added restrictions on male bunting. The result will be a style of play that will involve all members of the defense and more opportunities to kick! 

SEASON DETAILS

• Games played on Wednesday Nights at War Memorial Stadium in Hampton - Coed kickball at a minor league baseball stadium! 
• The season begins on 4/17 - 6-weeks from today! 
• Membership includes 8-game minimum plus playoffs (more if weather allows), postgame specials at BWW, shirt, and league parties
• The cost to join is $69 until April 5th. There are no hidden fees, but late registration is $74 starting on the 6th. Sign up early to make sure you save some beer money. 
• You can join a team, with a small group, or as an individual free agent. If you need help finding a team, we will ensure you're taken care of! 
• Join our Facebook group: Great place to share photos/videos, get important updates, chat about the upcoming leagues, coordinate pickup games, and find teams to play with. 
• Open Play: All are welcome to check out the league on April 3rd. We're having a free pickup night at the Stadium: https://www.facebook.com/events/546336835850286/
