VA Peninsula Tournament Schedule Released!

Kickballers! 

The moment we've been waiting for for months is upon us. This Saturday, the 11th season of WAKA VA Peninsula will have a champion crowned! 

Without further ado, here is the playoff schedule. Lots of great matchups on the slate for Saturday kicking off at 9 AM! 

A couple of notes about the tourney: 

• There is no rock/paper/scissors for the playoffs. Home is awarded to the higher seed in the matchup. 
• Mercy is automatic if a team is up by more than 12 runs with 3 innings played. 
• Time Limits: The normal time limits are relaxed in the playoffs and no game will be shortened (except for mercy). However, with this said, let's be sure to respect each other's time and make every effort to start games on time, play at a reasonable pace, and avoid delays (I'm looking at you, JFK!)(Just kidding)
• Extra Innings: In the event of a tie after 5 innings, games do continue into extra innings under modified rules. 4 guys and 4 girls in the field. A runner starting on 2nd. Be sure to familiarize yourself with the OT rules here. 
• REFS: Be sure to check the schedule on the first tab of the page. Many teams do have reffing assignments for the early rounds. For those the later rounds, we will be asking for volunteers from teams on bye or eliminated to assist in reffing. If you are interested in volunteering proactively, please see Keith and I. There may be bribes involved, especially for the semis and finals!
